Please read these terms carefully before booking your African safari adventure with us.

Terms and Conditions






1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, tours, and services provided by Wildaxis Africa Tours .By booking a tour or using our website, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.


2. Booking & Confirmation

2.1 A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed booking form (or written acceptance) and the required deposit payment.

2.2 The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion.

2.3 All bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation will be sent via email within 48 hours of receiving your deposit.

2.4 It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that all details provided at the time of booking (names, passport details, dietary requirements, etc.) are accurate and complete.


3. Payments

3.1 A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure a booking.

3.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the tour departure date.

3.3 For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.4 All payments are to be made in the currency specified on the invoice. Wildaxis Africa Tours accepts bank transfer, credit/debit card, and mobile money payments.

3.5 Prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated and are subject to change until a deposit is received.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

By the Client

4.1 All cancellations must be submitted in writing to our booking team.

4.2 The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure – Deposit forfeited; no further charge
  • 30–60 days before departure – 50% of total tour cost
  • 15–29 days before departure – 75% of total tour cost
  • Less than 15 days before departure – 100% of total tour cost (no refund)

4.3 We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation.


By the Company

4.4 Wildaxis Africa Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, unsafe conditions, force majeure events, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

4.5 In the event of cancellation by the Company, clients will receive a full refund of all monies paid, or the option to transfer to an alternative tour date. The Company shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client (e.g. flights, visas, accommodation).


5. Changes to Bookings

5.1 Changes to confirmed bookings (e.g. date changes, name changes, itinerary adjustments) will be accommodated where possible but are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee.

5.2 The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or routes at any time due to safety concerns, weather conditions, wildlife movement, or other operational factors. Every effort will be made to provide an equivalent substitute.


6. Safari & Wildlife Tours

6.1 Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. The Company will make every reasonable effort to maximise wildlife viewing opportunities, but cannot be held liable for the absence of any specific animal or natural event.

6.2 All clients must strictly follow the instructions of guides and park rangers at all times. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

6.3 Clients must remain inside vehicles at all times in designated wildlife areas unless explicitly instructed otherwise by the guide.

6.4 Any damage caused to wildlife, vegetation, or conservation areas by a client will be the full financial and legal responsibility of that client.


7. Health, Safety & Insurance

7.1 Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients, covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, personal liability, and loss of belongings.

7.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring they have all required vaccinations, medications, and health documentation for travel to Kenya and any other countries included in their itinerary.

7.3 The Company follows all applicable health and safety regulations and will comply with any government-imposed travel requirements.


8. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

8.1 It is the Client's sole responsibility to obtain all valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and permits required for entry into Kenya and any transit countries.

8.2 Wildaxis Africa Tours will not be held liable for any losses arising from a client's failure to obtain the correct documentation or being denied entry at any border.


9. Liability & Indemnity

9.1 Wildaxis Africa Tours, its employees, agents, and contractors shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, civil unrest, government actions, or equipment failure.

9.2 The Company's maximum liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the tour in question.

9.3 Clients indemnify the Company against any claims, costs, or liabilities arising from their own negligence, misconduct, or failure to follow instructions.


10. Code of Conduct

10.1 Wildaxis Africa Tours operates with deep respect for Kenya's wildlife, natural environments, and local communities. All clients are expected to uphold these values.

10.2 The Company operates in accordance with Leave No Trace principles. Littering, harassment of wildlife, or disrespect of local communities will result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

10.3 Any behaviour deemed dangerous, offensive, or disruptive to other guests or staff will result in removal from the tour at the client's own expense.


11. Privacy & Data

11.1 Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purposes of providing our services and complying with legal obligations.

11.2 We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required by law or necessary to fulfil your booking (e.g. national park authorities, accommodation providers).

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

12.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
